Certificate of Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation (CCVR) Course

Since we launched this course in January of 2019, we’ve surveyed hundreds of CCVR Course graduates and students about their experience. What we heard: Over 90 percent of respondents say they would like “more case presentations (especially atypical cases) and new treatment ideas.”

What are we doing? We’ve added weekly Case Studies that will guide your journey through the course material. These case studies are specific to each lesson plan from week 1 to the final lesson. Plus, we restructured the weekly coaching calls to focus on the case studies as a component of the online lectures.

The CCVR Course is designed to build your understanding and know-how through practical application of the methodologies in vestibular rehabilitation – the same methodologies we use to assess and treat the vestibular population.

The online education provides clinicians a convenient and flexible path to advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation through online coursework as well as virtual labs. Upon completion of the online coursework, participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate required clinical skills at the two full days of virtual labs. The CCVR Course fall session begins on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

“I attended a small one day vestibular rehab course in Iowa provided by a PT with her Emory certification. This course came highly recommended. I previously worked with a vestibular rehab physical therapist who relocated & I wanted to continue serving this population. This course format allowed me to continue working full-time, implementing the info, while also receiving my certificate.”

 CCVR Graduate

“I now have more tools to screen all the possible causes of dizziness as well as the ability and exercises to treat related impairments. This course helped me see the bigger picture to treat my patient in all aspects.”

 Stacy S., PT, Texas

“The online format is fantastic! I can’t imagine absorbing a week’s worth of material at another course! Then not being able to view the material again. The CCVR course allowed me to review selected lectures multiple times. I would highly recommend the CCVR course to any therapist interested in developing their expertise regarding vestibular rehab.”

 Bob S., PT, DPT, Oklahoma
