Schedule and programming coming soon…

This educational offering is eligible for the following hours: 12 continuing education hours.

FYI: The Concussion Health Summit and the Vestibular Health Summit are now one annual event.

Wednesday, January 19, 2022 – Concussion Health Track

We are excited to announce Anthony P. Kontos, PhD as the keynote for Day 1 of the Summit! Dr. Kontos is the director of research for the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. You’ll also hear from a diverse panel of experts assembled to provide you an opportunity to expand your knowledge and skill base in caring for concussion patients.

Thursday, January 20, 2022 – Visual-Vestibular Health Track

Day two focuses on visual-vestibular dysfunction across the lifespan: from pediatrics to geriatrics – a comprehensive problem-solving approach. The material is presented in a manner to support evidence-based medicine and introduce critical thinking skills in the diagnostic process. You will also be introduced to a variety of diagnoses (both central and peripheral), including recommended medical and therapy interventions for optimal outcomes.

Friday, January 21, 2022 – Personal & Professional Growth Track

Day 3 wraps up with motivational talks that inspire hope in uncertainty. Lately, times have been tough. We’ve all sacrificed. Our work has cut into our personal lives, we have lost our sense of balance (see what we did there cool). The best we can do in challenging times is appreciate each other and celebrate what we have accomplished. We’ll learn practical tools to conquer obstacles in our personal and professional growth.
